Welcome
The Vine is a vibrant church community based in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong. We are both a local and international family, made up of people born and raised in Hong Kong and others who have moved here from other countries. Our pastors and leadership consider Hong Kong to be home and are committed to building the family of God and seeing His kingdom flourish in this amazing city and beyond. Whether you are in Hong Kong temporarily or permanently, we hope you will feel welcomed into our family and made to feel at home here. We also hold regular newcomers evenings where you can get to know some of our pastors and leaders over a meal and hear more about our vision.
Our name 'The Vine' is derived from John 15:5, where Jesus said "I am the Vine, you are the branches". This passage encourages us to be Christ-centred and relationship-based in everything we do.
