Born in the UK, Andrew moved to Hong Kong at age 12, where he met and later married his wife, Christine. They have a beautiful adopted daughter Mia. Andrew holds a Master of Theology, oversees the executive leadership team at The Vine, and is devoted to creatively telling the gospel story.
Executive Pastor for Spiritual Formation & Leadership Development
Jim and his wife Julie swapped the open spaces of New Zealand for the vertical world of Hong Kong in 2014. Jim guides The Vine’s vision implementation in key areas, strengthening the spiritual formation and the empowerment of church members. He holds a Master of Theology, loves teaching, faith conversations, mentoring, and equipping all believers to fully use their gifts to serve the church and the world.
Karla, her husband Richard, and their two children have embraced Hong Kong as their home since arriving in 2002. Karla oversees the Pastoral Leadership Team and is passionate about seeing others released in their gifts as they serve God. Her favourite pastimes include trail running and sharing meals with loved ones.

Aman is a family-oriented Hongkonger who has a heart for journeying with marginalised communities and is passionate about fighting for social justice. With his extensive programme and non-profit management experiences in various renowned international NGOs, he endeavours to professional leadership while putting humanity at the centre.
Community Life Pastor
Luise and her husband arrived in Hong Kong in 2007 and have enjoyed calling it home. She dedicates her ministry to helping people reach their potential and oversees the Chinese, Filipino, Men’s, Women’s, Missions and Refugee and Asylum Seeker communities along with Community Groups.
Young Adults Pastor
Ellison was born in Hong Kong, studying in the UK during his teenage years. He is married to Brittney, a true Texan. Ellison holds a Masters of Theological Studies and was a Youth Pastor before joining The Vine. His heart for developing people drives his ministry with Community Groups.
Chapman was born and raised in Hong Kong and from a young age, felt called to full-time ministry. After spending some years working for Alpha, a course for exploring Christianity, he joined The Vine as the Youth Coordinator, where he channels his passion for developing and discipling young people.
Pastoral Care Pastor
Born in Hong Kong and schooled in Canada, Justin returned to Hong Kong in 2005 where his life was transformed at The Vine. He met his wife Patricia! Together they have two children. Justin is pursuing his Master of Ministry degree and compassionately serves those in need in the church.
Clare was born in Hong Kong and moved to Sydney when she was 9. She worked in the Accounting field before feeling called to full-time ministry by God. She is passionate about seeing people grow in intimacy with God and become whom they are truly created to be. In her free time, she loves to sit by the waters and daydream.
Community Groups Pastor
Tim was born in Germany and moved to the US when he was 17 years old. He has a Doctor of Ministry degree and has 14 years of experience working as a youth, associate, and lead pastor overseas as well as in Hong Kong. Tim believes in the importance of Christian community as a place to grow toward being like Jesus and in our love for others.
Worship Services and Production Pastor
Promise and his wife Kayla arrived in Hong Kong from the US in 2016. He believes music is a great medium in which both God and His love can be revealed. Promise has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity. In his free time, he enjoys songwriting and exploring cities.
Born and raised in Jakarta, Jethro came to Hong Kong in 2011 to pursue his university studies. Previously working in the IT field, he made a turn and now coordinates the Worship Ministry at The Vine. Jethro is passionate about seeing people grow in their pursuit of God.
Nathan de Lyster
An Australian who loves people, cycling, food, and bringing change to the world. Having settled in Hong Kong from 2010 he condenses his professional experience across finance, economic development, and consulting into the missions space at The Vine. His passion is mobilising people to find the connection between their faith and the practical steps needed to address social issues. He has a Masters in Globalisation and Development Studies from SOAS, University of London.
Refugee & Asylum Seekers Ministry Pastor
Stephen grew up in South Africa, met his wife Karen in Hong Kong, and after living in the US, they returned to the city in 2003. Stephen has been actively involved with the refugee community since 2005 and currently serves as Branches of Hope’s Refugee and Asylum Seeker Pastor.
Chinese Community Pastor
Vivien was born and raised in Hong Kong, and is married to Sidney. They have two young adult children. She holds a Bachelor of Theology from Lutheran Theological Seminary (Hong Kong) and has a vision to develop a strong Chinese Community, for Cantonese and Mandarin speakers, at The Vine.
Cantonese Community Pastor
Ivan was born and raised in Hong Kong. He and his wife Michi have two adorable sons. He holds a Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Seminary. He was baptised and has grown spiritually at The Vine. As a homegrown member of The Vine, he has a strong desire to connect people through the love of Christ, with a focus on the Cantonese community.

Born in Northern China and spent most of her adult life in the UK, Katie has worked in Investment Banking for some years. She followed her call to be in full-time ministry in 2014 and she is passionate about creating a family-like environment where lives are transformed by the love of Jesus. In her spare time, she enjoys walks in nature with a pair of headphones and ambient music on.

Jess was born and raised in Hong Kong, continued her high school and university studies in England and lived in London till she relocated back to Hong Kong in 2017. She worked for Alpha International in London and her passion is to see young adults equipped and released to walk in the fullness of their God given identity, calling and gifts.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Summer‘s vision is to see lives transformed by God’s love. She moved to Sydney, Australia in her early twenties, where she gained international exposure in ministry, conferences, and the renowned local coffee community. She holds a Bachelor of Theology and enjoys natural landscapes.
A classic kiwi girl, Christine has kept her strong accent even after living in Hong Kong for over 20 years! With her husband Andrew, daughter, and dog, she enjoys the quiet and natural side of the city. Christine holds a Masters of Counselling and supports the restoration of people and relationships.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Karen met her husband Ang while studying her Master’s Degree in Counselling and Divinity in the U.S., and they recently moved back to Hong Kong with their two boys. She has many years of clinical experience and is passionate about journeying with people as they seek healing in their lives.

Ada was born and raised in Hong Kong. She has spent her career in the accounting and finance field and also a decade in New Zealand, where she completed her Post Graduate studies in Management, earned her Master of Business Administration and her Chartered Accountancy. On days that she is not working, she loves to travel and catch up with friends.

Originally from Malaysia, Nicole has been in Hong Kong for many years. She manages The Vine office and the personnel team in an efficient and caring manner. When she’s not in the office you’ll find her stuck in a good book, or travelling overseas.
Head of Creative Arts
A native of Hong Kong, Enoch previously worked as a fashion designer after graduating from University of Washington in Seattle and Parsons School of Design in New York, eventually leading into his own contemporary label Berayah. He carries a deep desire to creatively express faith in a meaningful manner, as well as passion for travel, food and photography.
Originally from Hong Kong, Hudson left for England at 13 to attend boarding school. He returned to Hong Kong with his family in 2007 and began attending The Vine. Appointed in 2010, Hudson is passionate to see the church become more united. He currently works in education publishing.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in the US, Cliff returned in 2003 and was actively involved as a church volunteer. He met his wife Linnet at Oneighty, and they now have two beautiful children. Cliff chairs The Vine’s Finance Committee and has served as an Elder since 2008.
Susanna grew up on the mission field in Papua New Guinea and has been involved at The Vine for 7 years. She is married to Glen and they have four children. Susanna has served as a leader in Community Groups, children’s ministry, women’s ministry, prayer ministry, worship ministry, and many more.
After a spiritual awakening in Singapore, Sidney and his family relocated to Hong Kong, joining The Vine 8 years ago. Sidney and his wife served bilingual Community Groups and the Cantonese Alpha course. He is a tent-maker, bringing his mission ‘to serve, care, and share life’ to his Elder role.
Trudy has been with the Vine Church since 2007. Trudy’s heart is to see the church be awakened, revived and restored where each brother and sister immersing in the Father’s love so that the fullness of Christ and abundance of life be revealed in and through the body as a true community and family in Christ.
Damien has attended and been involved in many ministries at The Vine since mid-2007. He founded and heads a food distribution business and is passionate about leadership development and marketplace ministry. He and his wife Sylvie met as young adults at The Vine’s Oneighty fellowship, and they are proud parents of an energetic young son.

John and his wife Sandra came to Hong Kong in 1987 and arrived at the church in 1995. He began working full-time at The Vine in 2003. They use their pastor’s hearts, as well as their love for evangelism and prayer to connect with many Chinese and International churches.
