The Vine has a clear vision. It is rooted in prayer and revelation from the Word and the Spirit. We do nothing without prayer and a clear sense of the leading of God. Our prayer meetings are the bedrock of our vision.Vision 2008 is based not just on numbers (2008 by 2008) by being the church we are called to be and by working with other churches in Hong Kong and Overseas to bring about transformation.

Five adjectives describe the Vine Vision:

ENGAGING // Engaging with society at every level. We have a burden for the unchurched and to be a voice for those with no voice (as in our refugee ministry). We believe that we can impact our city and nation and have influence here

GROWING // We believe in a growing family and people are offered the opportunity to accept Christ at every service, a year round Alpha Course programme in various languages and regular mission trips, both overseas and in Hong Kong. Baptism services are held regularly, usually at the beach.

TRANSFORMING // Lives in the Holy Spirit. Every member is encouraged to join a PLUS group to ensure they receive pastoral care, friendship and support. In a growing church, commitment to a PLUS is essential. In addition, our Cleansing Stream Seminar and retreat runs twice a year and is our discipleship programme- open to all.The Vine offers a wholeness and restoration centre, open to all, called Oasis at The Vine.

INTEGRATING // Whilst we offer ministries for different ages (Kids4Christ, Flight 852, one-eighty) and people groups (One Body, Asylum Seekers, Soul Sisters, Men’s ministry), we believe in integrating people in the work of God as we seek to truly build the family of God

GLORIFYING //  We have a creative God and we believe in glorifying him through creativity and worship. Our worship team has been ministering extensively through Hong Kong and overseas. Our dance team (Revolve) have similarly performed inside and outside of the church. Drama is also used to good effect.
